Mel B Marries Hairstylist Rory McPhee for the 2nd Time in Morocco Wedding Ceremony: ‘We Had the Time of Our Lives’

Melanie “Mel B” Brown and Rory McPhee have tied the knot — again!

The former Spice Girl, 50, and her hairstylist husband, 37, threw a second wedding celebration at Selman Marrakech in Morocco, just one month after their first ceremony in London, England.

Sharing a photo from their nuptials in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, Aug. 3, the couple wrote in their caption, “We got married!!! Again! A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fav place at @selmanmarrakech ❤️❤️❤️ we had the time of our lives!!”

In the image, Mel B and McPhee could be seen dancing down what appeared to be the aisle at their wedding. The singer wore a red Justin Alexander dress, while McPhee opted for a classic and cool white and black ensemble.

Mel B and McPhee first got married on Saturday, July 5. The couple’s romantic ceremony took place inside The Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral and was followed by a star-studded reception at the Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard in London, England.

Among the celebrity guests was “Baby Spice” Emma Bunton, plus Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan and Daisy Lowe.

Other Spice Girls bandmates Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) were not at the first wedding, but the latter two women sent Mel B flowers, according to Hello! Magazine.

During her Moroccan wedding, Mel C, 51, was in attendance. She commented on Mel B and McPhee’s photo, writing, “What a weekend! So happy we got to share it with you.”

For their first ceremony, McPhee referenced his Scottish heritage by wearing a kilt in McPhee tartan, while Mel B wore an ivory custom wedding dress from Josephine Scott. The strapless corset gown had a sheer illusion jacket embellished with pearls and was paired with a cathedral veil.

Caroline Black, the owner of Evelie Bridal Boutiques in London, helped the musician pick out her wedding attire.

“Mel was a dream to work with, bringing her own sense of style to the occasion,” she told PEOPLE in July.

Mel B’s dog, Cookie, delivered the wedding rings on a collar around her neck, according to Hello!

The outlet also reported that the newlyweds travelled across the capital in a horse-drawn carriage to their evening reception. Meanwhile, guests travelled via London buses decorated with fairy lights while being serenaded with the Spice Girls hit “Wannabe.”

McPhee proposed to Mel B in 2022 while they were on a getaway in Berkshire, after the pair had been dating for three years.

“He said, ‘I love you, you’re my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,’ ” Mel B recalled while discussing her engagement on Celebrity Gogglebox in October 2022. “There were rose petals everywhere, a log fire, a hotel — which was Cliveden. It was very romantic. I love flowers.”

In the past, Mel B swore to herself that she’d never wed again after her two divorces. She was previously married to Jimmy Gulzar and Stephen Belafonte. The pop star changed her tune after falling in love with McPhee.

“I was like, ‘I’m never going to get married again. Never, never, never. I’m never having a relationship. I’m fine by myself. I want to raise my kids, put my head down and work, and that’s it. And then… never can say never, can you?” Mel B — who shares daughter Phoenix, 26, with Gulzar, daughter Madison, 13, with Belafonte, and daughter Angel, 18, with ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy — told PEOPLE in March 2024.

She continued: “I believe in love, and clearly the other two marriages turned out to be not love, from their angle. So I feel like I’ve really missed out, and now I’ve got this opportunity to be properly in love with a really good guy who I know loves me for me, who’s known me before I was a Spice Girl, why wouldn’t I do that?”
