MGK clears up confusion over name of baby girl with ex Megan Fox

MGK and ex-fiancée Megan Fox did not name their daughter “Celestial Seed.”

The “Bloody Valentine” rocker (who formerly went by the stage name Machine Gun Kelly) took to his Instagram Story Monday to set the record straight on their newborn’s moniker after some fans were confused by his initial announcement post.

“Wait guys…her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’ 🤣,” MGK, 34, wrote atop a screenshot of a TikTok user referring to the little one by that name. “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready.”

The “Emo Girl” singer excitedly revealed the birth of their daughter via Instagram last week with a sweet black-and-white video of him holding the newborn’s hand. 

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️,” he captioned it, confirming the little one’s birth date as “3/27/25.”

Some fans took the caption to mean that MGK (real name: Colson Baker) and Fox, 38, had indeed named the child “Celestial Seed.” 

The same day he posted the original birth announcement, MGK also revealed via Instagram that he had “composed the score of the birth” to commemorate his daughter. 

“Born into 432 HZ. What an epic journey praise god 🎹🥁🎵🎸🎺,” he wrote, giving a shoutout to the team, which includes his close pal and longtime musical collaborator, Travis Barker.

As Page Six previously reported, MGK and Fox’s tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship began in 2020, with the two getting engaged in 2022.

Following a series of road bumps, the two seemingly called it quits for good in November 2024 — shortly after the “Jennifer’s Body” star announced she was pregnant with their first child together.

An insider told People last Friday, however, that the pair are now in an “amicable” place and “on the same page” in regards to co-parenting plans.

“No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line,” the source added.

This marks the second child for MGK, who welcomed daughter Casie, now 15, with ex Emma Cannon in 2009. Meanwhile, Fox shares three other kids with ex-husband Brian Austin Green: sons Journey, 6, Bodhi, 11, and Noah, 12.
