Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, are parents.

The actress, 21, and the model, 23, welcomed a baby girl through adoption, they announced in a joint statement shared via Instagram Thursday.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” their statement read. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

They concluded their message, “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

Back in March, Brown discussed her desire to start a family with Bongiovi, noting that her mother and father were also young when they became parents.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. This has been my thing since before I met Jake,” she explained on the “SmartLess” podcast at the time.

“I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”

As for how Bongiovi felt, Brown emphasized that he knew how “important” having kids was to her.

“Of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer,” she said, “but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me, personally.”

Brown also hinted at the possibility of becoming a mother through adoption.

“For me, I don’t see having your own child as really any different as adopting,” the “Stranger Things” star shared, stressing that her “home is full of love for anyone and anything.”

Brown and Bongiovi — who is the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi — were first linked in June 2021 and went Instagram-official that November.

After making their red carpet debut as a couple at the BAFTA Awards in London in March 2022, the pair announced their engagement in April 2023.

The lovebirds got married in a “low-key” ceremony in May 2024 and held a second, more extravagant celebration in Italy five months later.
