Mindy Kaling showed off her fit frame in a bold look while attending the star-studded Golden Eve event in Beverly Hills, Calif., Tuesday night.

Kaling posed on the red carpet for the pre-Golden Globe Awards celebration, displaying her slimmed-down figure in a black cutout embellished gown by Emilia Wickstead.

The actress, 46, paired the elegant look with diamond earrings and a matching ring.

The “Office” alum — who’s reportedly lost 40 pounds since 2020 — was hit with speculation that she turned to a GLP-1 weight loss drug to trim her figure.

However, she chalked up her body transformation to eating smaller portions.

“Honestly, I just eat less,” she said in an April 2022 interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “I wish there was something more juicy about the way that I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but that’s the way I’ve done it.”

Kaling noted that as the world returned to normal after the COVID-19 pandemic, “eating whatever is probably not the way to go.”

Her mother’s death in 2012 from pancreatic cancer also inspired her to think about her health and mortality in a new way. She even became an ambassador for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

The six-time Emmy nominee continued to discuss her health goals during a May 2022 interview with the “Today” Show, admitting that she had been on a mission to “look a certain way” since the age of 14.

“I used to be the person that was like, ‘I have to stop eating this food or six weeks beforehand I’m only going to juice,’” she said, explaining that the diet restrictions would only work about “30 percent of the time” and “70 percent of the time [she] couldn’t stick to it.”

Kaling shared that she is really trying to enjoy things in “moderation” for the first time in her life.

“I am never going to stop being a foodie. I’m never going to be someone who can just have spinach and salmon every single day,” she said on the show.

“The Mindy Project” creator reflected on how she used to believe that working out had to be rigorous and something “you had to hate.” Fortunately, Mindy said she no longer has “that relationship with exercise anymore.”

A year later, the “Never Have I Ever” creator shared that she is finally feeling comfortable in her own skin.

“I’m feeling really confident in my body these days, which is not something that I’ve been able to say for my whole life, unfortunately,” she told People in May 2023, adding, “I feel great.”

The Tony Award winner credited her weight loss to running and hiking nearly 20 miles a week, as well as weight lifting.

“Working out can be a really private moment…where people don’t need anything from you, and that can be great,” she told the mag.

That same year, Kaling shared on Instagram that her doctor told her she was the “healthiest [she has] been in years.”
