Morgan Wallen Was Hit with Fan’s Phone During Concert in Denver and Threw It Back into the Crowd

Morgan Wallen is the latest artist to be hit with an object while performing.
A fan threw a phone at the country star while he was performing at Denver’s Mile High Stadium on Thursday, June 27.
According to fan-captured footage, Wallen, 31, was singing his track “Cowgirls” when a concertgoer hurled a phone at him.
The phone hit him on the shoulder before it fell on the stage, and Wallen then chucked the object offstage before finishing the song unfazed.
Reps for Wallen have not yet responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Since last summer, many musicians have grappled with the dangerous trend of invasive fan incidents, which have included many having to dodge objects being thrown at them.
Bebe Rexha was seriously injured New York City when a fan threw a cell phone at her face (he was arrested), and Harry Styles was hit by objects multiple times while touring throughout Europe last summer. Kelsea Ballerini was even struck in the eye by a bracelet during a show in Idaho.
In another disturbing situation, Ava Max was slapped by a concertgoer while performing her song “The Motto” at the Los Angeles show at the Fonda Theatre.
Wallen, however, recently had a less dangerous object thrown at him.
On Friday, June 21, Wallen was smacked in the face with a fan’s thong after the garment was thrown onstage during his show in Minneapolis.

In fan-captured video, the “Chasin’ You” headed to one side of the stage as he performed his hit collaboration with Post Malone “I Had Some Help.” When he squatted down to sing to his fans, an audience member threw a thong at him, which landed on his hat before he caught it in his hand.
Wallen smiled and traveled to a different side of the stage and flung the thong back to the crowd.
The “Wasted on You” musician kicked off the 2024 leg of his One Night at a Time World Tour in Indianapolis in April and will continue to perform across North America before wrapping on Friday, Aug. 9, in Las Vegas.
