Movie studio protects Blake Lively from backlash with one telling move

Prime Video is seemingly protecting Blake Lively from fan backlash while promoting her new film, “Another Simple Favor.”
On Monday, the Amazon-owned streaming platform released the trailer for the forthcoming comedy-mystery film on YouTube.
However, the movie studio turned off the comments on the promo. For previous trailers posted on YouTube, users were able to leave comments.
Page Six has reached out to Amazon for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Lively reprised her role as Emily Nelson, a PR director for a fashion company, in the sequel, alongside Anna Kendrick as single mom vlogger Stephanie Smothers.
The “Gossip Girl” alum, 37, is currently in a legal battle with her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, over allegations that he sexually harassed her on the set of the 2024 movie.
Last December, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, for alleged sexual harassment, retaliation, emotional distress, invasion of privacy and other claims.
The “Jane the Virgin” alum denied her accusations and in turn sued the New York Times for libel over a story published about Lively’s allegations.
In January, Baldoni filed a second lawsuit, accusing Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, of defamation and extortion.
The “Five Feet Apart” director claimed Lively and the “Deadpool” actor, 48, utilized their pal Taylor Swift to assert control over the production of “It Ends With Us.”
In an effort to clear his name, Baldoni released raw footage of himself and the mom of four dancing on set to refute her sexual harassment claims. He also launched a website with their alleged text messages.
Baldoni and Lively are scheduled to go to trial in March 2026.
“Another Simple Favor” hits Prime Video on May 1.
