Nicola Peltz’s friend blasts Brooklyn Beckham’s ‘toxic’ family after vow renewal

Nicola Peltz’s close friend fiercely defended the actress amid her rift with husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family.

Rebecca Faria, who attended the couple’s vow renewal earlier this month, blasted Beckham’s loved ones in a lengthy Instagram comment, posted Wednesday.

“I love seeing people who spend years in therapy over toxic family ties coming here and judging someone who actually had the guts to walk away,” she wrote of negative comments regarding Brooklyn’s feud with parents Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, as well as his siblings — Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

“Everyone’s been kissing the Beckhams’ ass forever, and Nicola was the first to stand up for her values since [she] couldn’t care less about their fame or money!” Faria went on to write. “The moment they couldn’t control everything, they lost it and started planting fake press to make her look bad in the public eye.

“I’ve known her for years; she’s genuine, humble, and refuses to live in a fake world,” Peltz’s pal continued. “So if you don’t know the REAL story, don’t come here talking crap.”

She concluded by calling Brooklyn, 26, “a grown man who can defend himself just fine” and “walked away … because he knows exactly the environment he grew up in.”

Additionally, Faria hit back at a hater calling Peltz, 30, “lazy.”

Faria labeled the insult “lazy,” adding, “She’s not holding anyone hostage, Brooklyn is … an adult who’s perfectly aware of the life he wants, and he’s living it.”

Brookly, for his part, “liked” a similar comment (via TMZ) speculating that “he made the choice to disinvite his parents” from this month’s vow renewal ceremony.

The Instagram user asked, “Why is it assumed that [Peltz] made the decision to exclude them? She is painted to be vindictive and cruel, but if he really wanted his parents there, they would be.”

Reps for Peltz, Brooklyn, Victoria and David did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Victoria, 51, David, 50, and their children were vacationing in Europe when their eldest son and his wife renewed their vows in New York.

News broke in April that Brooklyn wasn’t on speaking terms with Romeo.

The feud expanded to include his parents in May, whom TMZ reported that Peltz believed were “narcissistic.”

Page Six reported in June that Brooklyn has gone no-contact with his family — on the heels of Cruz seemingly sending multiple biting messages to his sibling via Instagram.

Brooklyn and Peltz have been an item since 2019, with the photographer-turned-chef getting down on one knee the following year.

When the duo tied the knot in April 2022, Victoria reportedly butted heads with the bride — and left Peltz in tears over an allegedly “deeply hurtful” wedding stunt.

The “Lola” star re-wore mom Claudia Peltz’s wedding dress at her and Brooklyn’s vow renewal, gushing via Instagram that the moment “meant so much” to them.

Brooklyn, for his part, told People about the “beautiful” ceremony — and quipped he would “renew [his] vows every single day” if possible.
