Nicole Kidman isn’t dwelling on ‘regrets’ of Keith Urban split: report

Nicole Kidman isn’t dwelling on any “regrets” in her divorce from Keith Urban.
An insider close to the actress told People Friday that she’s “keeping it positive” and is “surrounded by the two things that matter the most to her: her family and her work.”
“She isn’t someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason,” the source added.
The insider also noted that Kidman, 58, “has great attitude and feels very grateful for her life,” and is looking forward to “several work projects coming up.”
Earlier this month, a source exclusively shared the same sentiment about the “Big Little Lies” star to Page Six, telling us that she is “sad, but moving on” from the divorce.
“She’s sad and moving on with her life — and making sure her kids are taken care of.”
Page Six confirmed last month that the couple separated after 19 years of marriage, with a source telling us, “Sometimes relationships just run their course,” adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”
Just one day later on Sept. 30, the “Perfect Couple” star officially filed for divorce from the musician, citing “irreconcilable differences” in documents obtained by Page Six.
The actress and country music singer had been living apart “since the beginning of summer,” and Kidman had been caring for their two children, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, and “holding the family together” while Urban, 57, was away on his tour, according to TMZ.
In a messy turn of events, Urban’s guitarist Maggie Baugh was dragged into their divorce news after fans noticed a flirty onstage moment between the songwriter and his much-younger band member.
During one of Urban’s performances back in April, he sang his 2016 hit “The Fighter” — inspired by his early romance with Kidman — alongside Baugh, 25, per a video obtained by TMZ.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that when he sang, “I was born to love you,” he pointed and glanced directly at the guitarist who then scooped her microphone and sang beside Urban.
The suspicious exchange resurfaced once Urban changed the lyrics in the song once inspired by his wife and name-dropped Baugh instead, singing, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.”
The young musician most recently added fuel to the romance rumors when she teased her new song on Oct. 9 which includes lyrics about fighting feelings.
Rumors that Baugh and Urban are romantically involved remain unconfirmed.
Since her ex and his guitarist have made headlines, Kidman has made several cryptic comments. In her Oct. 8 cover story for Vogue, she admitted her life went in an unexpected direction.
“How many times do you have to be taught that you think you know where your life is going and then it isn’t going in that direction?” The producer said in response to being asked how she felt in her 50s.
She also shared her wisdom on surviving life’s “devastating” moments in an Oct. 9 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“I’ve seen a lot, I’ve experienced a lot, and I’ve survived a lot,” she shared. “I want to pass on some of that knowledge and that wisdom and whatever I’ve learned.”
“There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through,” Kidman continued.
“You’re going to have to feel it. You’re not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it, and it’s going to feel insurmountable at times. You’re going to feel like you’re broken, but if you move gently and slowly — and it can take an enormous amount of time — it does pass.”
