North West shows off hip-length blue braids in Skims holiday campaign for Cactus Plant Flea Market capsule
North West is the new star of Skims.
Featuring prominently in the cozy holiday campaign for mom Kim Kardashian’s loungewear company, North helps debut the brand’s limited-edition capsule with Cactus Plant Flea Market.
In an Instagram post, Skims declared, “The Holiday Season, reinvented.”
Available to shop on Nov. 20 at 12 PM, the capsule marries CPFM’s signature logo style with Skims’ cozy silhouettes. Full of snowmen, doves, teddy bears and more cute wintery motifs, it’s a collection ready for the cold, snowy season.
In the campaign video, each model takes a turn looking into the camera and saying, “Everybody,” while Veneda Carter and her daughter, Bobbi, scream, “Everybody’s wearing Skims.”
Still photos of each look were also released. In one, North wears a matching black hoodie and sweatpants styled with knee-high white furry boots and her signature blue braids that reach well below her hips.
The campaign, shot in a dining room set for Christmas dinner, features West, Carter and her daughter, Beabadoobee, Ken Carson, Madeline Argy and Mariah the Scientist. Each person models a range of items from the line, including sweatsuits, thermal onesies, flannel bozer shorts, pajama sets and more.
Proud momager-in-training Kardashian shared snaps from her eldest daughter’s photoshoot on her own Instagram account as well. In a press release from the brand, she added, “Having North in this campaign makes it really special for me; she brings so much personality to the pieces.”
Though North West’s on-camera appearances primarily consist of her Kardashian-approved TikTok videos, she made her fashion campaign debut at age 5, starring alongside her mom and grandmother, Kris Jenner, for Fendi.
At just 7 years old, she starred in a campaign with Kardashian during the early days of Skims.
Kardashian got candid on an episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper last month, sharing that she struggles with the public nature of her daughter’s life, who enjoys trying different trends like all of her friends do, but has to contend with doing so in the public eye.
Concerning specific looks that have received backlash, Kardashian added, “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
That doesn’t seem to deter the famous family, however, as West, now age 12, is featured prominently in the holiday-themed campaign with her signature blue braids.
“She does listen to me,” Kardashian shared, “but in other areas, I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.’ You know, it makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her.”
