Oasis has spoken out after a man fatally fell from the upper level at their Wembley Stadium show.

“We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night,” band members Liam and Noel Gallagher said in a statement obtained by Page Six Sunday.

“Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”

Reps for Wembley Stadium and Metropolitan Police did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The tragic incident took place on Saturday night as the “Wonderwall” hitmakers played to a sold-out crowd in London.

Metropolitan police and medics showed up at the arena around 10:19 p.m. local time in response to reports of a man in his 40s being injured after falling from a significant height, per BBC.

According to a spokesperson for the police department, the man was pronounced dead at the scene after he “was found with injuries consistent with a fall.”

Police also said they “believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.”

Wembley Stadium also responded to the incident in a statement, saying that medics, police and the London Ambulance service attended to the man.

“Despite [medics efforts, the fan very sadly died,” they said in the statement obtained by BBC. “Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.”

The band’s Sunday concert at Wembley Stadium went ahead as planned.

Oasis is set to perform next in Edinburgh for three shows on Aug. 8, 9 and 12.
