Pamela Anderson Kisses ‘Naked Gun’ Costar Liam Neeson at U.K. Premiere, Lovingly Holds His Hand

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson turned up the heat at the U.K. premiere of their comedy The Naked Gun — leading Us to shamelessly ship the costars.

Anderson, 58, stunned on the Tuesday, July 22, red carpet at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square in a strapless, deep purple gown. However, it was the moment that she leaned over and kissed Neeson, 73, that has Us talking.

The actress gave her costar a smooch on the cheek as Neeson, wearing a grey suit and black shirt, leaned down to meet Anderson. (Neeson is 6’4’’ while Anderson is 5’7’’.)

Neeson was photographed with his arm around Anderson’s back as the two posed for the cameras.

In another sweet moment, Anderson was captured looking lovingly up at Neeson and smiling while he grinned in response at something she seemingly told him.

The costars’ chemistry was even more evident as they joined producer Erica Huggins for more pictures in London ahead of the premiere. In one photo, Neeson stood with Huggins on his right and Anderson on his left. While the trio all looked happy to be standing together, Neeson appeared to be a bit cozier with his leading lady than with Huggins.

Looking closely at the photo, fans could see Neeson’s left arm wrapped around Anderson’s waist. She in turn reached her right hand around to hold onto Neeson’s hand.

The cheeky U.K. photo op came after both Neeson and Anderson sang each other’s praises while promoting The Naked Gun. (In the film, Neeson plays Detective Frank Drebin Jr., while Anderson plays his love interest, Beth.)

“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson told People in October 2024. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

Anderson, meanwhile, called the Taken star the “perfect gentleman,” telling People at the time that working with Neeson was an “absolute honor.”

Anderson recalled Neeson, “Sincerely [looking] after me,” noting he “wrapped his coat around me when I was cold.” In return, the Baywatch alum said she baked bread and cookies for her castmate.

The actress, who is single, later hinted at her automatic chemistry with Neeson during a May interview with Entertainment Weekly, revealing that the pair had dinner together often — but with chaperones.

“I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant, so our relationship stayed ‘professionally romantic’ during filming,” Anderson confessed.

Earlier this month, Neeson, who is also single, told Entertainment Weekly that Anderson’s good looks didn’t hurt their chemistry, either.

“She’s got that feistiness and innate sense of humor … And very easy on the eyes, too,” the Northern Ireland actor told EW of his leading lady on July 8.

While some fans — Us included — might ship Anderson and Neeson after this comedy, Anderson confirmed that their relationship is platonic. She told EW in that same interview that she has “a friend forever in Liam,” calling their connection “very sincere” and “very loving.”

Neeson, meanwhile, revealed in October 2024 that he’s done with relationships. When asked whether he dates, the actor told People, “No, in a word. I’m past all that.”

Neeson was married to Natasha Richardson for nearly 15 years prior to her untimely death in March 2009 at the age of 45. Before her fatal ski accident, Richardson and Neeson welcomed two sons: Micheál and Daniel.

Anderson, for her part, has been married multiple times. She shares sons Brandon and Dylan with first husband, Tommy Lee, whom she divorced in 1998 after three years of marriage. Anderson was most recently married to her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst. Us Weekly confirmed in January 2022 that they were getting divorced after tying the knot in December 2020.

The Naked Gun hits theaters on Friday, August 1.
