Pete Davidson’s Pregnant GF Elsie Hewitt Told Him on the 1st Date He’d Be the Father of Her Kids

Pete Davidson and his pregnant girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, knew from the moment they met that one day they would share a family.

“When we went on our first date, we went out for dinner for the first time, I was like, ‘Don’t think I’m crazy, but I just know that you’re going to be the father of my children,’” Hewitt, 29, recalled during the pair’s Bumble Instagram Stories takeover on Tuesday, November 18.

Davidson, 32, remembered the fateful date the same way, saying he replied, “I know.”

“And look at us now!” Hewitt said with a laugh. “How about that!” the Saturday Night Live alum said in agreement.

The couple gave fans even more insight into the start of their relationship while taking part in Bumble’s real life love story campaign on Tuesday.

After Hewitt revealed that her ideal date night is going to an escape room, Davidson confessed they haven’t done one — but Hewitt is a big fan of the hands-on experience.

“She goes, ‘I have a standing reservation at an escape room so we can go anytime,’” Davidson laughed, revealing Hewitt told him that as a “flex” early on in their relationship. “I was like, ‘Oh, cool, dude.’”

When reflecting on how they’ve grown as a couple, Hewitt said, “You are very patient with me and a lesson we have both learned is I need to work on my time management and Pete is so patient with me.”

The comedian joked, “That’s a lesson that any guy can learn, you’re just going to be late and it’s fine.”

Us Weekly confirmed in March that Davidson and Hewitt were dating after they were spotted getting cozy in Palm Beach, Florida, that same month.

It wasn’t until two months later that the pair confirmed their romance, stepping out for their red carpet debut at the Blossom Ball in New York City.

In July, Hewitt announced via Instagram that she is pregnant with the couple’s first baby. She shared a video of the duo looking at a sonogram among photos of their time together.

“Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” the British model captioned the cheeky upload.

A source later told Us that Davidson and Hewitt’s little one is due this winter and they are “so excited for this next chapter.”

“They’ve been living together and getting everything ready for the baby, and it’s brought them so much closer,” the insider said in October.

Although the couple are living together, the source said they aren’t ready to get married just yet.

“It has been an exciting time for them and they are doing really well as a couple,” the insider continued. “They have talked about getting engaged but are not rushing it. It’s not their priority right now and they are committed to being loving parents together.”

The source added: “Pete has been there for Elsie every step of the way and is very supportive and loving making sure she is taken care of.”

While Davidson has been a supportive partner, Hewitt hasn’t had an easy pregnancy amid her struggles with endometriosis, a reproductive condition where tissue grows outside of the uterus and causes pain.

“I’m in absolute agony pretty much 24/7. This morning, it’s really bad,” Hewitt shared via her Instagram Story on November 14. “I am just straight-up suffering and in so much pain every single day. I actually really don’t know how it could get worse than this.”

On Tuesday, however, Hewitt was all smiles as she sat beside her boyfriend for their Bumble takeover.

“We’re really excited to dress the baby up exactly like us,” Davidson said in the video, which excited Hewitt. “Matching outfits, all three of us,” she chimed in.

Davidson added, “Yeah, that’s gonna be a lot of fun.”
