Prince Harry fulfilled a promise to skydive with a 102-year-old veteran, and immediately phoned his worried wife, Meghan Markle, afterward to tell her he landed safely.
The royal made the jump in Toronto on Friday to raise awareness and money for two Canadian military charities, True Love Patriot Foundation and Sunnybrook. He was also promoting the Invictus Games, which takes place in Birmingham in 2027.
Last year, he met WWII veteran Ed Marshall, who told the Prince he had skydived on his 100th birthday. Harry was so moved by his derring-do that he promised Marshall he would skydive with him when he returned to Toronto.
