Prince Harry makes heartbreaking declaration about his kids after losing UK security battle: ‘Really quite sad’

Prince Harry is “really quite sad” he “won’t be able to show” his children his UK homeland after losing his legal battle over security once again.
“I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point. And the things that they’re gonna miss is, well, everything,” the former royal said in a shocking BBC interview on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Harry — who shares Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 3, with his wife, Meghan Markle — lost his appeal to challenge the UK government’s decision to strip him of his publicly funded security after he and Markle resigned from royal family duties and moved to the US.
The Duke of Sussex argued that he had been treated unfairly by having his automatic state-backed security measures stripped from him.
Ultimately, the Court of Appeal ruled unanimously that a committee hadn’t treated Harry unfairly when it decided to review his protection on a case-by-case basis each time he visits the UK.
In his BBC interview, the “Spare” author, 40, went on to blame his father, King Charles III, for the further distance placed between the feuding family members.
Harry also claimed he and his family have long been at odds over the issue as well as Harry’s decision to broadcast the royal family’s secrets in his 2023 memoir.
“There is a lot of control and ability in my father’s hands. Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through [Charles],” Harry explained.
“Not necessarily by intervening, but by stepping aside, allowing the experts to do what is necessary.”
However, due to their current standing, it seems unlikely Harry may see any positive progress on the matter.
After long reported speculation regarding their strained relationship, Harry confirmed he and Charles, 76, are currently not on speaking terms.
“He won’t speak to me,” the prince claimed, “because of this security stuff. But it would be nice to reconcile.”
Following his father’s February 2024 cancer diagnosis, he added that “life is precious,” and he doesn’t “know how much longer” Charles has left.
Still, despite their “disagreements” and “differences,” Harry would “love reconciliation with [his] family” because “there’s no point in continuing to fight.”
