Rachel Zoe wears Jennifer Lopez’s iconic Versace dress in Hamptons magazine

Rachel Zoe chose an iconic look to celebrate her Hamptons magazine cover.

The stylist made sure to dip into the fashion archives for the unveiling party on Wednesday night, wearing an updated version of the plunging green leaf-print Versace gown that Jennifer Lopez made famous in 2000.

Dubbed the “jungle dress,” the plunging gown, which Lopez wore to the Grammy Awards, infamous served as the catalyst for Google Images due to the sheer overwhelming volume of search inquires looking for photos of the red carpet outfit.

Though by the time Lopez got her hands on it, it had already been worn by three other people, it was Jenny from the Block who truly put it on the map.

The original version of the look boasted a neckline that reached all the way to the singer’s pelvis, and a slit that met up at the very same closure spot, with the sheer skirt barely covering her legs. Zoe’s, however, is a bit more conservative.

The Bravo star’s skirt was opaque and had no slit while the neckline, deep as it remained, didn’t quite reach her naval.

Zoe’s signature blond locks cascaded down her shoulders in loose waves that reached her hips.

“The things that feel luxurious to me now are the things that stand the test of time,” Zoe explained in her interview for the publication.

On the cover, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star plays with her beach waves and flashes layers upon layers of John Hardy jewelry.

She also wore the green Versace dress within the glossy pages, sourced from vintage purveyor Janet Mandell.

“In the Hamptons, my uniform is caftans all day, every day,” she shared — and the unforgettable jungle gown seems to fit in quite effortlessly.
