Ray J has been arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun on his ex-wife, Princess Love, during a livestream argument.
The singer, 44, was booked into a Los Angeles jail and charged with making a criminal threat on Thursday, Nov. 27, according to TMZ. His bail was set at $50,000, and he was later released that same day, the outlet reported.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment, nor did shared representatives for Ray J and Love.
Video footage of the livestream that was shared on social media appears to show a heated situation unfold, as the “One Wish” musician and his former spouse, 41, argue, with Ray J accusing Love and others of wanting to “drive drunk.”
“Drive drunk, Princess,” the artist, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., says, before Love appears on camera, holding their daughter.
The former couple is parents to daughter Melody Love, 7, and son Epik Ray, 5.
As Love claims, “Ray, you just pointed a gun,” he responds, “Drive drunk, Princess. Go ‘head. You wanna take my kids? You and ‘yo drunk cousin?”
Ray J then calls Love and her cousins “alcoholics.” As he asks who will drive if they leave, Love replies, “I’m not driving! You just pointed a gun at us.” In response, Ray J states, “I didn’t point nothing at y’all.”
Then asking Love why she woke their daughter up, she replies, “All I wanted to do was have a good Thanksgiving.”
Princess also accuses the “Wait a Minute” singer of being “a woman abuser” in the back-and-forth spat.
“I called the police,” Princess is later heard telling Ray J, prompting him to respond, “I’ll shoot the f—ing police.”
TMZ reported that Ray J began the livestream by saying he was having “the worst Thanksgiving in the f—ing world.”
The outlet reported that the video also showed the artist with a gun, stating, “If these n—– step foot close to this door I’m going to blow this f—ing s— away, bro.”
