Reese Witherspoon arrives in NYC with German financier Oliver Haarmann after sparking dating rumors
Reese Witherspoon’s rumored relationship with Oliver Haarmann seems to be more than just a summer fling.
The “Morning Show” actress, 48, was photographed with Haarmann, 56, at a heliport in New York City over the weekend — just one month after first sparking romance rumors.
Witherspoon was all smiles as she walked along the tarmac in a white top and jeans with a striped sweater slung over her shoulders.
The actress was joined by her 11-year-old son, Tennessee, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Toth, and 20-year-old son, Deacon, whom she shares with Ryan Phillippe.
The German financier, for his part, arrived shortly after Witherspoon, wearing green cargo pants and a black polo shirt.
The rumored couple was first spotted together in late July while out on a dinner date at L’Artusi in the West Village.
The pair reportedly flew into the city via helicopter and spent most of the weekend together. At the time, a source told the Daily Mail that the two had been quietly seeing each other for months.
However, another insider told People the pair are just “friends” and seeing where things go.
Witherspoon “is taking things slow when it comes to dating,” a source said.
“She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son,” they added. “These are her biggest priorities.”
Both Witherspoon and Haarmann are fresh off divorces.
The actress has not publicly dated anyone since her divorce from Toth was finalized in August 2023.
Prior to her romance with the CAA agent, Witherspoon was married to Phillippe from 1999 to 2008. Along with Deacon, the “Cruel Intentions” co-stars share 24-year-old daughter, Ava.
Following news of her budding romance with the businessman, Phillippe sent hearts racing by posting several shirtless photos.
Meanwhile, Haarmann — a founding partner of Searchlight Capital Partners — was previously married to businesswoman Mala Gaonkar. The exes share two sons.
Haarmann doesn’t use social media and lives a very private life. However, according to his LinkedIn, the private equity investor is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard University.
Despite being primarily based in London, Haarmann is also a minority owner of the New York Islanders.
