Reese Witherspoon confirms romance with financier Oliver Haarmann while holding hands in NYC

Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann were spotted holding hands for the first time since their whirlwind romance began.

The “Legally Blonde” star and the German financier — who sparked relationship rumors in July — confirmed their romance while vacationing in New York City on Wednesday.

Witherspoon, 48, and Haarmann, 57, were photographed leaving their hotel and walking toward an SUV as the actress held onto her beau.

The “Morning Show” star — who donned a mini black dress with a cutout neckline and black heels — appeared to be in good spirits during the outing.

As for Haarmann, he dressed up in a navy-colored blazer, a blue button-up shirt, khaki pants and brown dress shoes.

Over the weekend, the couple arrived in the Big Apple alongside Witherspoon’s 20-year-old son, Deacon, whom she shares with her first ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe, and her 11-year-old son, Tennessee, whom she welcomed with her second ex-husband, Jim Toth.

Witherspoon and Phillippe, who were wed from 1999 to 2008, also share 24-year-old daughter Ava, though she wasn’t present.

The “Big Little Lies” star and the businessman were first romantically linked in July when they were photographed on a dinner date at L’Artusi in the West Village.

At the time, sources told the Daily Mail that Witherspoon and Haarmann had spent the entire weekend together and had been secretly dating for months.

Another insider, however, told People the duo were “just friends” and the mom of two was “taking things slow when it comes to dating.”

“She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son,” the source shared. “These are her biggest priorities.”

While Witherspoon was rumored to be dating Kevin Costner last year, she has not publicly dated since she finalized her divorce from Toth in August 2023.

The former couple split in March 2023 after 12 years of marriage.

Haarmann, meanwhile, was previously wed to Mala Gaonkar, with whom he shares two sons.
