Regé-Jean Page is returning to TV – and to Netflix.

The Bridgerton alum, 37, is going to star in and executive produce a new erotic thriller series for Netflix, Hancock Park.

Per an official synopsis, Page will play a “dangerously charismatic outsider who invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family — when he rents their backyard guest house.” The series, which is currently in development but has not yet begun production, will see Page become increasingly entangled in the L.A. family’s world, which leads him to expose “the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of LA’s most-coveted neighborhoods.”

The series was written by The Guest’s Matthew Barry and will be executive produced via Page’s production company, A Mighty Stranger. There is no word yet on when the series will be released.

Hancock Park marks Page’s return to Netflix following his breakout role as the Duke of Hastings in Bridgerton season 1, alongside Phoebe Dynevor, and his role in The Gray Man.

Page starred in just one season of Bridgerton in 2020, but confirmed his exit from the beloved Shonda Rhimes series ahead of season 2 in April 2021.

He called the show “the ride of a lifetime” in an Instagram post as he said, “It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be your Duke. Joining this family — not just on screen, but off screen too. Our incredibly creative and generous cast, crew, outstanding fans — it’s all been beyond anything I could have imagined.”

Since then, he has starred in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves and Black Bag. Hancock Park will mark his first major TV role since Bridgerton.

Page will next be seen in the upcoming romcom You, Me & Tuscany alongside Halle Bailey, who admitted that both she and her sister, Chloe Bailey, are huge Bridgerton fans.

“We watched Bridgerton and we freaked out like everybody else in the world,” she told PEOPLE. “[Chloe] was like, ‘You have to tell me if he’s nice!’ I told my sister, ‘He’s so cool.’ ”

He told PEOPLE of the film, “It’s getting to hang out in this aspirational world with Halle Bailey and just live through being in love in this removed environment where you get to go discover yourself away from your everyday life…. And the moment you meet [Halle], you want nothing but good things for her, so there is no better vessel for that journey.”
