‘RHOC’ alum Meghan King loses custody of kids to ex Jim Edmonds: report
“Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Meghan King has reportedly lost custody of her three kids to ex-husband Jim Edmonds.
Following an investigation from Child Protective Services, King was granted supervised visitation, a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
The decision, which was made in the past couple of months, is temporary and a hearing is expected to take place to determine whether the arrangement will become permanent, the insider shared.
The investigation was allegedly sparked after a school employee filed a report with CPS about King.
The outlet reported that a hearing is scheduled to take place in December to further decide on the custody decision.
Reps for King and Edmonds did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
King, 41, was married to Edmonds, 55, from 2014 until they split — due to a cheating scandal — in 2019. They welcomed three children together: daughter, Aspen, 8, and twins, Hart and Hayes, 7.
After their divorce, the pair worked out a settlement in May 2021 in which they agreed to share joint custody.
King last made headlines in September after police body cam footage revealed she told authorities that her ex-husband was “incredibly emotionally abusive,” following a May incident.
Jim’s third wife, Kortnie Edmonds (whom he married in 2022), called police on May 1 to complain that King had trespassed on their property after she previously made arrangements to drop off her step-daughter’s dress.
However, “Meghan refused to hand Kortnie the dress and ‘pulled away and asked to speak to’ [her daughter],” according to a police report obtained by Page Six.
After Kortnie told King, 40, that the former MLB star and Aspen were out attending a baseball game, King allegedly yelled for her daughter from inside the house and stood a few feet away from the doorway.
The former Bravolebrity eventually left the home in her Jeep, but was then confronted by Frontenac Police.
After the incident, charges against King were not pursued by the Frontenac municipal prosecutor.
A rep for King later claimed the ordeal had been “mischaracterized.”
“Meghan briefly called to her daughter from the doorway, never stepped inside, had the door slammed in her face, and calmly left her belongings on the porch. Upon leaving, she was unexpectedly blocked by multiple police vehicles and treated in a way that felt unnecessarily hostile,” the spokesperson said.
