‘RHONY’ alum Jill Zarin’s mom dead at 91

“Real Housewives of New York City” alum Jill Zarin announced the death of her mom, Gloria Kamen, at the age of 91.

“She was my best friend, my mentor, and the most important person in my life,” the reality star wrote via an Instagram tribute Tuesday.

“For 68 years she was the heart of our family — married to my dad, devoted to everything she believed in, and a relentless truth-teller in a world that needed her honesty,” she said of her mom.

Zarin, 62, referred to Kamen as being “everyone’s therapist” and “voice of reason,” adding, “She was the real OG housewife who raised incredible women and touched the lives of millions with her counsel and kindness.”

The Bravo alum emotionally shared that the matriarch “leaves behind a legacy that can’t be measured,” but reassured that the latter’s “wisdom,” “strength” and “love” would live through her grandkids, “who she absolutely treasured.”

“She will be deeply missed and never ever forgotten,” Zarin continued, before penning a special message directly to Kamen.

“Thank you mommy for everything you did for me and giving me the most beautiful family,” she wrote.

“You picked the best father I could ever ask for and you were always right about everything even if it took me a while to see it. ❤️,” she concluded.

Zarin shared several photos of Gloria throughout the years, including with her husband, Sol.

Aside from Zarin, the couple are the parents of daughter Lisa Wexler.

Several celebrities and fans fled to the comment section to express their condolences.

Zarin’s daughter, Ally Shapiro, wrote, “There will never be another Gloria ❤️ love you so much.”

Former “RHONY” alums also shared their messages of support.

“So very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Much love and light to you, and may her memory be a blessing,” Alex McCord wrote, while Bethenny Frankel added, “I am so sorry for this significant loss and wish your family peace and healing.”

“I am so sorry for your loss, sending you so much love 🙏❤️,” Luann de Lesseps chimed in, with Kelly Bensimon sharing, “Beautiful and insightful Gloria!!”

Gloria was an author and published the 2010 book “Secrets of a Jewish Mother: Real Advice, Real Stories, Real Love” alongside her daughters.
