‘RHOSLC’ Stars Reveal Only Part of ‘Below Deck’ Crossover They Didn’t ‘Love’: ‘It Was Different’ (Exclusive)

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks had a blast on Below Deck Down Under — but there was one part of the crossover they weren’t thrilled exactly about at the time.

“It was fun. It was a little bit different for us because it was different from what we are used to,” Meredith, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly at DIRECTV’s Plot Twist featuring Bravo party on Tuesday, August 12.

Meredith noted that she wasn’t “used to having cameras” in her room at all times.

“It is a very different animal. I can’t say I love that part of it,” she added. “But it was a fabulous trip and the whole crossover thing was cool to do.”

Lisa, 50, took the chance to praise Captain Jason Chambers. “It was a big boat. Captain Jason works extremely hard,” she told Us at The Perch by Skylight atop PENN 2 in New York City. “I think he just ran and ran and ran.”

The RHOSLC costars were also both on the same page when it came to Chef Ben Robinson‘s cooking. Meredith called the food “amazing” while Lisa explained how as a “picky” eater she found herself impressed.

“They have a great chef,” Lisa teased at the New York event spotlighting DIRECTV’s MyEntertainment Genre Pack. “My food preference sheet I went kind of light on but there were specifics that I had to have and they met every need and every wish.”

Season 4 of Below Deck Down Under marks the first-ever crossover between RHOSLC and Below Deck Down Under as the cast headed to Greece. In addition to Jason and Ben, Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Daisy Kelliher is taking over in Aesha Scott’s place.

While the crossover aspect is a first for Below Deck, the hit series has hosted Bravo Housewives in the past. RHOC‘s Alexis Bellino appeared on season 7 of Below Deck while celebrating her divorce from ex-husband Jim Bellino.

Kary Brittingham from The Real Housewives of Dallas was a guest during Jason Ziegler‘s charter in season 2 of Below Deck Mediterranean. Meanwhile, RHOA‘s Cynthia Bailey came aboard Eros with Claudia Jordan during season 3 of Below Deck.

Fellow RHOSLC star Heather Gay appeared on the first season of Bravo’s Below Deck Adventure in November 2022. More recently, Jill Zarin left quite the impression as a guest on St. David during season 11 of Below Deck. Jill had a long list of demands including “nugget ice” and a special basket with toiletries.
