Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs claims he’s fed ‘maggot-infested,’ ‘expired’ food in prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs made bombshell claims about his prison conditions in a fresh appeal for bail.

The embattled rapper’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo petitioned Judge Arun Subramanian on Sunday to release the 55-year-old on bail ahead of his Oct. 3 sentencing in a “brief letter.”

In the filing, obtained by Page Six, the attorney claimed that Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center is an “inhumane” facility.

“MDC routinely serves food that is expired or infested with maggots,” Agnifilo alleged in the document, going on to reference a picture.

“The maggot-infested food captured in that photo is, unfortunately, not an uncommon experience,” he wrote.

Agnifilo deemed this and allegedly frequent lockdowns “exceptional circumstances” worthy of consideration.

Combs has been in the New York City prison, whose other famous inmates have included R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell, since his September 2024 arrest.

At the time, the Grammy winner was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution.

Eight weeks after Combs’ high-profile trial kicked off in May, he was found guilty of two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution — and acquitted of the more serious charges.

He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, 10 for each count.

Agnifilo immediately requested that Combs be released on bail following the July 2 conviction, which Subramanian denied.

The judge noted that he denied the Bad Boy Records founder bail ahead of the trial and saw “no reason to reach the opposite conclusion” after the fact.

He did, however, say he might be willing to move up the October sentencing.

Agnifilo referred to Subramanian’s denial as “unfair” over the weekend, writing, “Hellbent on punishing [Combs] for being a user of prostitution services in a more draconian manner than anyone in U.S. history, the government continues to target him.”

He denied that Combs is a flight risk or a “danger to others,” pointing out that the songwriter “has shown nothing but respect for the criminal justice system and everyone in it from the first minute in jail.”

Agnifilo told Variety on Friday that Combs’ time in prison has been “difficult,” with the record executive “spending a lot of time thinking.”

The lawyer claimed, “He misses his kids. He’s learned a lot. What he wants to do when he gets out is to start small. He wants to spend time with his children and get reacquainted with his own life.”

Agnifilo called food the “roughest” part of Combs’ stay.

The Metropolitan Detention Center’s holiday menus, notably, have made headlines during Combs’ time there, with him being served a hamburger, bean burger [and] two hot dogs for lunch on the Fourth of July.

Amid the inmate’s fresh request for bail, President Trump is reportedly “seriously consider[ing]” pardoning Combs.

Last month, a source told us, “The White House will not confirm or deny pardons that may or may not happen.”
