See inside influencer Danielle Bernstein’s wabi sabi-style Tribeca loft with 2 walk-in closets: ‘So lucky to live here’

WeWoreWhat founder Danielle Bernstein gave an up-close look inside the luxurious Wabi Sabi-style loft she is renting in downtown New York City.
“Created my dream Tribeca loft and feel so lucky to live here 😊🙏🏻☁️👏🏻✨,” the influencer, 31, captioned an Instagram video of her renovated pad.
The massive apartment located inside a former spice warehouse features marble bathrooms, exposed brick and two showroom-style walk-in closets.
Bernstein’s kitchen, living room and dining area are combined in a massive open concept with exposed wood-beamed ceilings and industrial columns that still smell like cinnamon from the building’s warehouse days.
She keeps the light and airy space neat and minimal by hiding her television and bar area behind custom compartments that can slide open and closed.
“I really wanted this to be my zen, happy place,” the fashionista told TikToker Caleb W Simpson in a more in-depth tour of her apartment posted on Sunday.
“My whole apartment is kind of wabi-sabi inspired, which is a Japanese interior design,” she said.
Bernstein painted her kitchen cabinetry a soft chocolate brown and stained her floors a darker hue, creating a moody ambiance that matches her distinctly edgy yet girlie style.
The most expensive pieces of furniture in the abode are her rattan dining chairs, which she admitted cost between $6,000 to $8,000 apiece.
“I got [the chairs] as an investment a long time ago. They’re really special. They’re from India originally,” she said, adding that they are very “fragile.”
Bernstein also transformed two of her bedrooms into walk-in closets — one for her accessories and the other for her famous street-style wardrobe.
“This is my dream, Carrie Bradshaw, ‘Sex and the City’ closet,” she said of her immaculately organized room brimming with designer shoes, purses, sunglasses and jewelry.
Her clothing closet is set up like a showroom to make her fashion career “easier,” she said of the numerous racks organized by style and color.
The Instagram star’s “zen-like” bedroom features a plush king-sized bed with white bedding and a rustic wood headboard, a fuzzy cream chair and a Noguchi lantern.
Her bedroom also has a light wood desk and matching dresser below a big screen TV.
Bernstein’s primary bathroom has a freestanding bathtub, gray and white marble sinks and showers, heated floors and an LED lighting mirror she purchased from Amazon.
“I spend most of my time literally just getting ready in this mirror,” Bernstein said, adding that she uses her bath on her “self-care nights” every Monday.
“I have a ritual where I have all of my self-care things and then I take a bath,” she said.
Bernstein previously lived in a Soho apartment, which was featured in Architectural Digest, with her ex-boyfriend. However, they broke up in April 2023 after four years together.
She has since moved on with her new boyfriend, Cooper Weisman, who has spent plenty of time in her earthy home.
