Shailene Woodley’s dating history: Aaron Rodgers and more
Shailene Woodley’s love life is no “secret.”
While the “Secret Life of the American Teenager” star has kept some of her romances out of the public eye, she famously dated Aaron Rodgers and other celebrities in the spotlight.
However, Woodley has kept her lips zipped about rumored relationships with her co-stars Theo James and Ansel Elgort.
The “Big Little Lies” alum subtly set the record straight while speaking to Teen Vogue in 2014.
“I literally have not had a boyfriend in almost five years,” she claimed. “I’ve never even hooked up with anybody I’ve worked on a movie with.”
Page Six breaks down Woodley’s boyfriends below.
Nahko Bear
Woodley was linked to Nahko Bear from 2014 to 2016.
Although the actress has never spoken about her romance with the musician, the duo have remained amicable over the years.
Not only did Woodley celebrate her ex’s single release in February 2020, but they both took part in an Instagram Live two months later.
Ben Volavola
Woodley confirmed her and rugby player Ben Volavola’s relationship via Instagram in January 2018 after sparking rumors the previous year.
That May, the pair made their red carpet debut at the “Adrift” premiere.
The Emmy nominee confirmed her split from the athlete in April 2020, telling Bustle that she “was still at an age where [she] wasn’t able to fully commit … and be available to him” as they approached “marriage and children.”
Aaron Rodgers
Days after Woodley and Rodgers’ relationship first made headlines in February 2021, the New York Jets player revealed that they were already engaged.
The Golden Globe nominee confirmed this milestone on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” later that same month.
“I never thought I’d be engaged to someone who threw balls for a living,” she said. “But he’s just really so good at it. I’m very impressed.”
In early 2022, Woodley and the quarterback called it quits.
She called their “s–tty” split the “darkest, hardest time” of her life while speaking to Net-A-Porter in January 2023.
The “Fault in Our Stars” actress hinted at the reason behind their breakup in a Bustle interview in September of the following year, saying she had fallen in love “over and over with unavailability.”
