Shania Twain celebrates her 60th birthday in a white button-up shirt and black undies

Let’s go, girls.
Shania Twain celebrated her 60th birthday on Thursday with a nostalgic Instagram post referencing her “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” iconic music video look.
The Grammy winner kept her look simple, posing in a crisp white button-up and black undies for the photo.
“No inhibitions, make no conditions/Get a little out of line,” written in the background of her picture, are lyrics featured in the hit 1997 song.
She also shared a throwback photo of herself in the ’80s, wearing a sparkling blue suit and smiling for the camera as she appeared to be getting ready for a performance.
She also sported a classic 1980s teased hairstyle.
“Happy birthday to me! How can I be 60? So glad to have kept some photos from this time in the 80s when I had no idea what was ahead of me and Shania f—ing Twain didn’t exist yet,” Twain captioned the photos.
“I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for the life that i have. For my family, friends, fans and the inspiration I get from all of you.”
Twain closed: “I’ve tried to stay true to myself along the way and that’s my intention moving forward into the next chapter.”
Months before celebrating the big milestone, Twain reflected on her popular track as she opened up about her journey to self-acceptance and overcoming her struggles with body confidence.
“Once I got behind the camera and started looking at clothes and fashion, I was like, ‘Wow, I’m actually a woman after all, and I think I might like it,’” she told US Weekly in March.
“When I wrote ‘Man, I Feel Like a Woman!,’ it was an absolute celebration [of that],” Twain continued. “And I felt empowered behind the camera. I was like, ‘They can’t grab me. I’m safe.’”
“Of course I don’t have the body I imagined — because my image of the perfect body is a supermodel with no cellulite, perfect proportions and a beautiful stride. This is just not me. You can wish a lot of time away ignoring what you actually look like. Just get real with yourself.”
The comments echoed her 2022 sentiments when she told People magazine that showing off her “new body” in her late 50s felt “liberating.”
“This is me expressing my truth. I’m comfortable in my own skin, and this is the way I am sharing that confidence.”
