Shanna Moakler and Greg Vaughan Enjoy Night Out as Source Says They ‘Recently Reconnected’ 28 Years After ‘Poison Ivy’

Shanna Moakler and Greg Vaughan are spending time together. 

The pair were spotted leaving The Black Keys’ Ohio Players album release party at Bar Marmont in Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Friday, April 5, with an onlooker telling PEOPLE the pair had a meal together at the Hollywood hotspot the same night.

“They had dinner at the Chateau Marmont on Friday,” the onlooker says, adding, “It looked casual but they were definitely having a good time.”

Moakler, 49, and Vaughan, 50, both smiled as they made their exit from the venue and headed out in the same car after their evening together.  

“They met filming Poison Ivy in 1996 and recently reconnected,” another source tells PEOPLE. 

Representatives for Moakler and Vaughan did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. 

The actress and model was previously married to Travis Barker from 2004 to 2008. The exes are parents to daughter Alabama, 18, son Landon, 20, and Barker’s stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24. Atiana’s biological father is Moakler’s ex, former professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

Vaughan, meanwhile, split from his ex-fiancée of two years, Rizzoli & Isles actress Angie Harmon, in 2021. Prior to their relationship, he was married to Dutch model-actress, Touriya Haoud, with whom he shares three sons.

Vaughan — who recently recovered from a severe case of altitude sickness, which he revealed in an Instagram post last month — recently spent spring break with his sons, posting photos of their time together in Colorado on his Instagram page.

In one from March 12, the Days of Our Lives alum posted a photo of himself and his sons posed together in the snow while decked out for winter sports. Other snaps in the carousel post showed the father and his boys spending more time together during their vacation.

“SPRING BREAK 2024 #jcl #blessed #memories 🙏🏻🤘🏼🤪,” Vaughan captioned the post. Another video posted the same day showed a montage of similar shots and was captioned, “Father & Sons.”

Moakler, meanwhile, has previously opened up about prioritizing her children as she co-parents with her ex Barker, 48, who is now married to Kourtney Kardashian.

Speaking during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2022 after being eliminated from Celebrity Big Brother, she said, “My children are my first priority, and that’s one thing that I think Travis and I do agree on.”

“That’s probably the only thing we agree on, but our children come first and their happiness,” she added.
