Sharon Osbourne, kids honor late Ozzy Osbourne’s birthday with Hollywood Walk of Fame tribute
Gone but never forgotten.
Ozzy Osbourne’s family honored the late rock star on what would have been his 77th birthday with a touching Hollywood Walk of Fame tribute.
The Black Sabbath frontman’s star was topped with a sweet message from his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and his kids on Wednesday to commemorate the special day.
Photographed atop Ozzy’s coveted star was a floral arrangement spelling out his name, along with another display in the shape of a heart with white angel wings.
A bunch of purple and black balloons and two gold balloons shaped like crosses were also featured as part of the sweet memorial.
The family laid a blanket on the ground, along with flowers, a candle and a toy figurine of the legendary musician.
Ozzy’s family members were not photographed visiting the star but clearly left their mark.
“We love you daddy,” read a wooden plaque that was signed with love from four of his kids: Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack Osbourne.
Ozzy shared Aimee, Kelly and Jack with Sharon, and kids Louis, Elliot and Jessica with ex-wife Thelma Riley, to whom he was married from 1971 to 1982.
A second plaque was from his widow, with the touching message reading, “Happy Birthday my darling. Eternal love, Sharon.”
Ozzy died at the age of 76 on July 22 after a years-long secret battle with Parkinson’s disease.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” his family said in a statement at the time.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
The heavy metal star revealed his battle with Parkinson’s in January 2020 — though he had been diagnosed more than 15 years prior.
There is no known cure for the progressive movement disorder of the nervous system.
Ozzy also struggled with severe pain caused by a neck injury he sustained in a 2003 quad biking accident.
Just weeks before his passing, Ozzy performed in a farewell concert in Birmingham, England
The show lasted 10 hours and featured performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and Jack Black.
Backstage, Ozzy was there to watch as Kelly got engaged to Slipknot member Sid Wilson.
Following his heartbreaking death, Ozzy was laid to rest on July 30. His wife and kids were seen gathering with loved ones at his emotional funeral in his beloved Birmingham.
