‘Sister Wives’ Alum Janelle Brown Shares New Loved-Up Photos of Boyfriend Pete After Kody Split

Sister Wives alum Janelle Brown continues to live her best life following her split from Kody Brown.

Gushing about her boyfriend, Pete, via Instagram on Sunday, September 27, the TLC reality star shared a new string of loved-up selfies. “We have had some fun adventures coast to coast … then we had to be in Phoenix but got a chance to enjoy the sunshine and a fun night out. Pete said, ‘Let’s go to a white table cloth dinner,’” Janelle, 57, captioned the post.

She continued, “It’s so fun having someone to do life with @meetrealpete. Tomorrow I go back to NC and Pete will stay in Vegas. We are slowly figuring out the long distance thing as we work to change it.”

Pete appeared to approve of his girlfriend’s romantic tribute, sharing it via his own Instagram account and selecting one of its images to share via his Instagram Stories.

The pair seem to be going from strength to strength after unveiling their romance in August. The relationship surfaced about four years after Janelle split from ex-husband Kody, also 57, with whom she shared six children. (One of the former couple’s sons, Garrison, died in March 2024.)

For his part, polygamist Kody, the star of Sister Wives which premiered in September 2010, remains married to just one of his former wives, Robyn Brown.

Janelle surprised fans by introducing Pete via Instagram on August 18. “Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared,” she captioned a photo of her and Pete at the time. “I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful.”

She concluded, “Everyone please meet Pete.”

Pete was also ready to introduce Janelle to his fanbase, sharing an Instagram photo of his own on September 1 with the caption, “Everyone please meet Janelle.”

Janelle has since kept her followers up to date with the progress of the pair’s romance, sharing couples’ photos from waterfront dinners, winery visits and other outdoor expeditions. On September 6, she declared that she and Pete had turned Sunday into a day dedicated to their blossoming relationship.

“We decided then, that whenever we had a Sunday free, we would find a way to spend it together,” Janelle wrote at the time.

Less than two weeks ago, Janelle opened up about how Pete is making her feel. “Pete drives, he opens my car door, and he makes sure I’m taken care of. He spoils me in lots of old fashioned ways. I could get used to this,” she captioned a September 16 post. “A nod to my ‘passenger princess’ era. I’m not sure I’ve ever been one before but I could get used to this.”
