Stephen Baldwin reacts to daughter Hailey, Justin Bieber’s baby news after model said she’s not ‘close’ with family

Stephen Baldwin offered a congratulations to his daughter Hailey Bieber after she welcomed her first child with husband Justin Bieber despite a family rift.

The famed producer took to X on Friday alongside the “Sorry” hitmaker’s mother, Patty Mallette, in applauding the couple on the birth.

“CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey,” Mallette wrote, conveying her excitement in all caps. “I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”

Just minutes later, Baldwin, 58, added, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”

In July, Hailey revealed she’s no longer “super close” with her famous family, telling W Magazine in a cover story that she feels like the distance is because she’s “very independent.”

“I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family,” the model, 27, added at the time, noting that she still has “very fond, beautiful memories” growing up with a “fairly normal childhood.”

Shortly after, her dad seemingly responded to her public slighting with a selfie video that appeared to address Hailey’s comments in the caption.

“Today, staying positive is a choice !! so I’m trusting in the power of joy, peace, and happiness. Finally if anyone hasn’t told you today, 😘 I LOVE YOU ❤️‍🔥,” he wrote.

Hailey and Justin, who officially tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in 2018, announced the birth of their first child together, Jack Blues Bieber, on Friday.

In an Instagram post, the “Never Say Never” singer revealed the news by sharing a photo of the newborn baby’s small feet, which his wife appeared to be holding.

“WELCOME HOME,” he captioned the post.

In 2019, the couple held an official lavish wedding ceremony in South Carolina in front on their family and famous friends, including Kendall Jenner, and Jaden Smith.

Hailey and Justin first revealed they were expecting in May alongside several cute snaps from their cozy vow renewal in Hawaii.

Hailey debuted her baby bump to the world at the time while wearing a lace Saint Laurent gown.
