Suki Waterhouse has announced the arrival of her first child.
The model and musician, 32, revealed on Friday that she had given birth to her first child with fiancé Robert Pattinson, 37, with a sweet photo of herself holding her baby. She captioned the adorable post: “Welcome to the world angel.”
In the photo, Suki is seen cradling her swaddled baby while standing in front of a window. Suki and Robert have yet to reveal their baby’s name, gender and birth date.
The couple’s famous friends have rushed to congratulate the pair and commented on the polaroid snap. Paris Hilton wrote: “Congratulations love! So happy for you both!”
Singer Halsey branded Suki a “rockstar mom”, while actress and producer Alyssa Milano wrote: “Now the fun really begins.”
The couple were spotted walking with a pink pram in the city last week, with footage from the outing showing Robert pushing the pram whilst walking beside his partner Suki. Robert sported a grey hoodie, shorts and a padded coat whilst model and fellow actor Suki opted to wear a lengthy black coat, with a pair of grey trousers visible underneath.
The couple were both seen wearing baseball caps and were accompanied by Suki’s mother in footage obtained by the Daily Mail. Suki announced the news of her pregnancy whilst on stage at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico back in November.
Speaking to the crowd, she teased: “[I decided to wear something particularly] sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on.” The singer-songwriter then gestured towards her apparent baby bump.
Suki subsequently told the crowd: “I’m not sure if it’s working.” There had been some speculation that the couple were expecting a baby together prior to the festival. A source told ET ahead of the event: “[They] are expecting their first child together. She is so happy, excited, and appreciative of this experience. Suki and Rob are adorable together.”
The Twilight actor and Suki have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight after first being linked together in 2018. Despite being together for the past five years, Suki revealed that she and Robert moved in together last year.
In October 2023, she discussed moving in with the actor in April earlier that year. Speaking on the Driven Minds: A Type 7 podcast, she said: “[The move] doesn’t feel like that much of a crazy thing.
“And I’m very lucky because he is so accepting of the mess and the chaos. He never says anything about it. He kind of thinks it’s like, charming. So I’m very lucky for that.”
Suki appeared to confirm her engagement to Robert during a stroll in December when she was seen wearing a Toi et Moi ring. A source confirmed the news to People, adding: “They both want to be married. It’s important for them. [Robert] can’t wait to be a dad. He’s so ready. His relationship with Suki is incredible.”
