Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III is focused on non-football hobbies as questions linger about his future with the Seattle Seahawks.

Following their Super Bowl victory earlier this month, the Seahawks are unlikely to use their franchise or transition tag on Walker, 25, meaning he would become a free agent in March, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday, February 17.

“I’ve been feeling good, honestly,” Walker exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday via his partnership with Oral-B. “I’ve been playing games. I’m not really stressing over it, you know? I’ve been pretty chill.”

Walker has mostly been spending his time playing Nioh 3 since earning Super Bowl LX MVP honors with his 135 yards rushing performance in the Seahawks’ 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots on February 8.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s fiancée, Katie Hoofnagle, is giving fans a look at what the Super Bowl celebration was like from the field at Levi’s Stadium. Two days after the Seahawks beat the New England Patriots, 29-13, to win their second championship in franchise history, Hoofnagle took to Instagram to express her pride and […]

“I play Ghost of Tsushima or Elden Ring type games,” Walker explained. “A lot of single player games.”

Before returning home to his gaming console, Walker and Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold hit up Disneyland the day after their Super Bowl win. The trip to The Happiest Place on Earth went viral after Walker and Darnold, 28, were seen on video riding the Mad Tea Party spinning tea cup ride together — which didn’t exactly go according to plan.

“Me and him didn’t like the tea cups,” Walker said. “I don’t like spinning around. We agreed not to get on the tea cups. We thought we were getting on another ride, but they switched it up on us. But it’s all good. It was a cool experience. That was my first time ever at Disneyland.”

After joining the Seahawks last offseason, Walker said Darnold was immediately “a genuine person, super laid-back, always cracking jokes.”

“Just getting to know him throughout the year and throughout the season, seeing how he worked and how he played on the field, that’s how we built our relationship over time,” Walker added.

Whether Walker and Darnold will get to run it back in Seattle remains up in the air, but regardless, the running back gushed about the special relationship between the organization and its fans, known as the 12s.

“I would say everyone’s connected,” Walker said. “The 12s, then you got [mascot] Blitz, doing the Oral-B campaign with me, you see his perfect teeth. Everybody is connected, even as teammates.”

This offseason, Walker can rely on the Oral-B iO Series Electric Toothbrush to help with his oral hygiene as he figures out what comes next professionally.

“It ties into my routine,” Walker said. “Just eating, sleeping, waking up and brushing my teeth. Throughout the day, I brush with an iO Series. It’s been real good for me and it gives me that perfect clean.”

During the season, Walker said the most difficult part of maintaining that routine is when his team has “a quick turnaround game.”

“Say you play on Sunday and then you have to play on Thursday, that’s totally different on your schedule,” he explained. “You have to do more recovery in less amount of time. That’s the hardest thing.”

As uncertainty looms about Walker’s football future, NFL free agency opens on March 11.
