Supermodel Shanina Shaik Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2, Her 1st With Music Executive Ryan Press

Shanina Shaik is expanding her family.

The supermodel, 35, announced on Wednesday, August 26, that she is expecting her second baby, her first with music executive Ryan Press.

“Ryan @ryanpress and I are so excited to welcome a little one into our world. It’s been so special holding onto this just between us for a little while, watching it become more real every day,” Shaik wrote via Instagram.

“And for my Zai, watching him become a big brother is a whole new kind of magic… I already know he’s going to be the best big brother!” she continued, referencing her 3-year-old son. “A new little life, a new chapter, and so much love ahead. Our hearts are full, and we can’t wait to meet you. 🤍.”

Alongside the announcement, Shaik shared several photos of her cradling her baby bump. In one black-and-white image, Shaik posed for the camera as Press smiled and placed a hand over her stomach.

Shaik became a mom in 2022 when she welcomed son Zai with Matthew Adesuyan, who is a music executive like Press.

“Welcome to the world baby Zai Adesuyan 🤍,” she wrote via Instagram that September while sharing an image of her newborn. “Matthew @bausmatthew and I, are so in love!!! I have taken this time to adjust to my baby’s schedule and to understand the role of being a mother. Bringing life into this world is a beautiful challenge. I would be happy to share my experience soon …. 💙💙💙.”

Months after her son’s arrival, Shaik reflected on her shifting priorities since becoming a mother.

“As a mom I’d say you become much more protective and you just think and worry all the time about someone else’s well being so it’s not about me anymore,” she told E! News. “Everything I do is about him.”

Last month, Shaik opened up about how motherhood has changed her approach to her modeling career.

“19 years in this industry. This is the decision that still sits with me,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “There was a moment I turned something down that I knew most people wouldn’t in my position…but being home to raise my son and spend time with him matters more than any campaign ever could. I don’t regret it. If anything, it’s the choice I’m proudest of.

She continued, “19 years in, and I’m still working, still building…but being his mum comes first. This industry doesn’t always leave room for that kind of choice. So I’m learning to make my own room, in my own time.”
