SZA knows how to get down!

The singer, 35, almost took a fall during the opening night of her Grand National Tour — which she is co-headlining with Kendrick Lamar — on Saturday, April 19, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

A video showed SZA attempting choreography with one of her dancers as she performed ”Diamond Boy (DTM)” from her 2024 album Lana. When the singer lifted her leg to drape it over the dancer’s thigh, the dancer stumbled and nearly dropped her.

SZA leaned into the dance move with her arm around the dancer’s shoulders. Thankfully, the “Kill Bill” hitmaker stepped forward and caught herself before falling on the stage. She quickly recovered after a beat, and the two continued dancing as if nothing had happened.

SZA has yet to post anything about the near-accident on social media. However, on Instagram, she shared a clip from the Minneapolis tour stop with the caption, “It feels illegal to be this close to SZA.”

The Grammy winner tagged fitness coach Taylor Petty and also wrote, “Shoutout to my trainer these cameras a lil close 😭.”

SZA and Lamar’s tour will make stops in cities including Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago and Detroit. International dates include Germany, Spain, Italy and Spain, among others.

The Not Beauty founder teased her tour with Lamar during a March appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she revealed that the concerts will be a departure from the rapper’s 2025 Super Bowl halftime show performance.

“Oh, we’re doing a new thing,” SZA declared. “We’re doing a fun thing. We’re both just kind of throwing all the paint at the wall. This is our first stadium show for both of us, so we pretty much have to go insane.”

The two artists announced their tour in December 2024. They recently collaborated on the tracks “Gloria” and “Luther” from Lamar’s 2024 LP, GNX.
