“GMA3” alums T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s onetime scandalous affair has actually gone the distance.

“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach shared on Tuesday’s episode of the “Amy & TJ” podcast.

“We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship,” Holmes chimed in.

Holmes, 48, shared that Robach, 52, has been publicly wearing her engagement ring in “crowds of tens of thousands” of people and “in everyone’s face,” but “nobody said a word.”

“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach said.

She speculated that maybe onlookers and their loved ones were being “polite,” explaining that those close to them “understand what [they’ve] been through and don’t want to pry.”

“That might have been what it was,” Robach added.

“We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!” Holmes said, adding that their close circle would be kicking themselves for not paying closer attention to his fiancée’s new bling.

Holmes claimed that only 10 people, consisting of their immediate families, knew about the engagement and warned against “made-up” rumors about the proposal.

He reassured listeners that he and Robach would likely share details of their special moment sometime in the near future.

A source told Us Weekly in June that the proposal had been “in the works for a while.” According to the insider, Holmes and Robach are also planning to invite their ex-spouses — Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue, respectively — to the wedding.

Coincidentally, Fiebig and Shue are now dating each other and reportedly moved in together in February.

Holmes and Robach sparked engagement rumors in March, when she flashed a huge ring on her left ring finger at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Later that month, he referred to her as his “spouse” on the “I Do, Part 2” podcast.

The mother of two previously said that she is in no hurry to marry Holmes. Her divorce from Shue was finalized in March 2023, while Holmes settled his divorce from Fiebig in October of that year.

“There is no urgency in the sense that I’m 51 years old. I don’t need to rush into anything,” she said on the “I Do, Part 2” podcast in September 2024.

“I think I have rushed into everything in my life up until now. But, he knows I wanna get married, and I know he wants to get married.”

Holmes and Robach’s relationship first made headlines in November 2022, when they were photographed being more than work colleagues while still married to their now ex-spouses. While they’ve denied having an affair and said they were both separated from their spouses at the time, they were still fired from the ABC News morning show following an internal investigation.

“We lost the jobs we love because we love each other,” Holmes said on their “Amy & T.J.” podcast debut in December 2023.

Since then, the two have been going strong and aren’t shy when it comes to showing intense PDA. The couple got handsy with one another at a June 2 tourism event held at Manhattan’s Paley Center For Media, shocking onlookers.

“They were talking to someone and T.J. was just putting his hand down her pants,” a source claimed to the Daily Mail. “From the top of her shorts, he was sliding his hand down to physically feel her butt. … It felt super inappropriate to do right there in front of everyone.”

A second source told the outlet, “At one point, she grabbed his ass.”
