Tallulah Willis makes rare comment about ex-stepdad Ashton Kutcher — and immediately regrets it

Tallulah Willis made a rare comment about what it was like having Ashton Kutcher as a stepdad.

The actress — who is the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore — admitted that she has “personal experience” with how to successfully navigate the highs and lows of a blended family.

“I have a lot to say on this! Especially how to move through an ex-step parent ❤️❤️,” Tallulah, 31, commented on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Instagram post about the “surprising realities of stepparenting.”

Paltrow and her husband, Brad Falchuck, discussed the topic on Tuesday’s episode of “The Goop Podcast.”

When an Instagram user asked Tallulah point-blank if her comment was referring to Kutcher — who was married to her mother from 2005 to 2013 — Tallulah confessed, “This maybe should have been a private message lol but yes I have personal experience with this.”

“It’s an important conversation tbh,” she later added in the thread, using a sunshine emoji. “also. No one needs to be a bad guy for a situation to be healed. there’s room for everyone.”

Back in September 2005, Kutcher, 47, and Moore, 62, famously tied the knot in a romantic Beverly Hills backyard wedding after meeting in 2003.

The “That ’70s Show” star took on the role of stepdad to Moore’s three daughters: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. Tallulah was just 11 years old when the two said “I do.”

Kutcher filed for divorce from Moore in December 2012, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized nearly one year later.

The “No Strings Attached” actor went on to marry Mila Kunis, with whom he shares two children: daughter Wyatt and son Dimitri.

Meanwhile, Tallulah’s father, Bruce, tied the knot to Emma Heming Willis in 2009 and welcomed two more children in the marriage: daughters Mabel and Evelyn.

Tallulah previously spoke about her mom’s relationship with Kutcher in a 2023 episode of “Stars on Mars.” 

“2003, my mom had just started dating Ashton … there was a lot going on,” she recalled, about what it was like growing up in a famous household. “I really went inside of myself and that did send me into a total dumpster fire and I’m still unpacking.”

Kutcher, for his part, still has affection for his three former stepdaughters.

“I was helping raise teenage girls through their adolescence,” he said during a 2020 guest appearance on the “WTF with Marc Maron” podcast.

“I love them. I’m never going to stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they are pursuing.”
