Tamra Judge takes major dig at Gretchen Rossi on ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’
Tamra Judge thinks Gretchen Rossi’s personality and looks need an upgrade.
In an exclusive interview on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Judge threw shade as she shared what viewers can expect from Rossi’s return to “The Real Housewives of Orange County” after 12 years.
“I feel like she can’t move forward, she wants to talk about the past. She thinks the show still operates like it did 15 years ago, and it doesn’t. It’s a different show,” Judge, 57, said.
“Social media is different, the show is different, the way it’s filmed is different, everything’s different now. And she’s just the same person,” Judge continued.
The “Two Ts in a Pod” co-host also didn’t hold back when Page Six’s Danny Murphy asked about Rossi’s hair and outfits being “out-of-date.”
“They’re both bad,” Judge replied with a sigh. “Yeah, it’s really bad.”
Judge said she was willing to start fresh with Rossi for Season 19, despite their years-long feud. She said she hoped Rossi would be “more mature” after becoming a mom.
However, Judge said Rossi proved her wrong.
“I tried, I tried. My opening statement to her was, ‘Hey, listen, I’d like to reintroduce myself to you. I am Tamra Judge, and I have no desire to go in the past. You know, we can move forward, and find something new to fight about.’”
“The thing is, if anybody should be mad, it should be me. For 12 years, she is relentless talking about me,” she added.
Judge also compared Rossi’s return to the franchise to Alexis Bellino’s brief return in Season 18. Bellino announced that she was fired from “RHOC” in December 2024.
Bravo announced Rossi’s return to the franchise in January.
“She’s back and ready to make fetch happen. Gretchen Rossi joins #RHOC for Season 19!” the network posted on Instagram at the time.
The actress — who was previously a series regular for Seasons 4 through 8 — will return to the Bravo reality show as a “friend” of the cast.
Rossi joined “RHOC” in 2008 when she was engaged to Jeff Beitzel, who died shortly before the season premiered that November.
By Season 5, Rossi became romantically involved with Slade Smiley — who was previously engaged to “RHOC” alum Jo De La Rosa.
She left the franchise with a bang at the end of Season 8 when she proposed to Smiley, who ultimately said yes.
Rossi and Smiley, 51, welcomed their daughter, Skylar Gray, in July 2019 after four years of IVF treatments.
“Skylar Gray is here and perfect,” a rep for Rossi told Page Six at the time. “Momma is doing well and parents are over the moon in love.”
Along with Judge and Rossi, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Jennifer Pedranti, Katie Ginella, Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson are also starring in Season 19.
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” is airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
