Tara Reid heard slurring words in 911 call during alleged drugging: ‘Really inebriated’
Tara Reid was heard loudly slurring her words in the background of a 911 call as a bystander attempted to get help during her alleged drugging incident.
In the clip obtained by TMZ Thursday, the caller referred to Reid, 50, as a “really inebriated” guest in the hotel needing to transported to the local hospital.
“She can barely stand. She can barely sit in a wheelchair. She’s not responding sometimes. She’s giving unresponsive answers,” the caller explained.
Reid’s voice can be heard loudly moaning in the background of the call.
The caller attempted to quiet down the “American Pie” star by loudly calling, “Miss Reid” several times.
The actress continued to give incoherent responses to the woman, who told dispatch that Reid is “laying on the floor in the hallway” at the time of the call.
A rep for Reid did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Reid claims that she was drugged while grabbing a drink at a Chicago hotel bar last month.
Video obtained by TMZ on Nov. 24 showed Reid — who has a history of substance abuse — being helped by a group of people into a wheelchair before she was later wheeled out of the hotel on a stretcher.
On Wednesday, Rosemont police announced that they found no video evidence in their ongoing investigation to back Reid’s claims.
“While video surveillance showed Tara Reid at the hotel bar, at no time did video show anyone tampering with or adding something to her drink,” the Rosemont Public Safety Department said in a statement Wednesday.
In the meantime, the police are continuing to work with Reid and are still waiting for her hospital records to continue their investigation efforts.
The department closed, alleging that “no criminal act … has been committed” and they aren’t looking into anyone at this time.
Still, the “Sharknado” actress maintained her original claims that she believes her drink was tampered with.
“Bottom line is no one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink,” she said in a statement to Page Six on Wednesday night.
“I felt so helpless. This has been a horrifying experience for me that is severely affecting my mental health. I cannot sleep over this it’s a very scary feeling not knowing what happened to me. I believe I was drugged. Something happened to me,” she insisted.
