Taylor Swift might have entered a new era, but one thing hasn’t changed — she continues to break records.

On Monday, Oct. 13, the 14-time Grammy winner, 35, marked the start of the new week by celebrating her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, selling 4 million first-week units following its release on Friday, Oct. 3.

All the songs on Swift’s latest endeavor also appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, taking up the top 12 spots. According to the publication, with this feat, Swift is now the sole act with the second-most No. 1s.

Swift marked her latest accomplishments by reflecting on how her career has evolved since the release of her first studio album, 2006’s self-titled Taylor Swift.

“I’ll never forget how excited I was in 2006 when my first album sold 40,000 copies in its first week,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “I was 16 and couldn’t even fathom that that many people would care enough about my music to invest their time and energy into it.”

The “Fate of Ophelia” hitmaker said that since then, she’s “tried to meet and thank as many people as I could who have given me the chance to chase this insane dream.”

“Here we are all these years later and a hundred times that many people showed up for me this week. I have 4 million thank you’s I want to send to the fans, and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was,” she said.

Swift ended her post by thanking fans for celebrating The Life of a Showgirl’s many features, including its vinyl variants, poems written inside the packaging and its theatrical experience, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.

“I’ll cherish this feeling forever. Just wow. Thank you for the lovely bouquet 💐 ,” Swift wrote, referencing a lyric from “The Life of a Showgirl,” a duet featuring Sabrina Carpenter.

The pop star’s 12-track project also helped her make Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) history by becoming the first and only female artist to surpass 100 million album sales.

Following the release of The Life of a Showgirl, Swift proved many fan theories to be true when she announced on Good Morning America, Monday, Oct. 13, that a six-part docuseries called The End of an Era, which will chart her experience on The Eras Tour, will begin streaming on Disney+ on Dec. 12.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, a recording of her final performance on the tour featuring tracks from The Tortured Poets Department, will also begin streaming on Disney+ the same day.
