Tearful Sami Sheen reacts to dad Charlie’s Netflix documentary following estrangement

Sami Sheen broke down in tears over estranged dad Charlie Sheen’s heartbreaking Netflix documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen.”

In a video posted to her TikTok Thursday, the OnlyFans creator, 21, began to get emotional while lying in bed and recapping her father’s addiction struggles.

“I didn’t know I was the reason he got sober,” she wrote in the video, suggesting that she had just watched the harrowing special.

She also encouraged her more than 200,000 followers to stream the docuseries, writing in the caption of the post, “honestly a 10/10 documentary.”

The “Two and a Half Men” alum, 60, shares Sami with his ex-wife, Denise Richards, whom he was married to from 2002 to 2006. They also share 20-year-old daughter Lola.

In April, Sami addressed why she hadn’t talked to her dad in a year — posting a soundbite of the actor’s viral 2011 interview on ABC’s “20/20” in which he made light of his drug use.

“When people wonder why I haven’t spoken to my dad in a year but this is my dad,” she captioned the clip.

Sami also spoke about their rocky relationship in an April episode of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” explaining in a confessional, “I would rather do literally anything else than go to lunch with my father.”

“It goes in very big chunks with him,” she explained of their dynamic. “I think for the first 13 years of my life it was pretty bad, and then we were OK for a couple years, and now it’s just like, OK.”

Richards touched on her family drama in a March interview with Us Weekly earlier this year, admitting that Charlie had a complex relationship with both daughters.

“It’s been [complicated] from day one and both girls are finding their path in the relationship and that’s OK,” Richards said. “Things can be up and down, but you can always get through it.”

Charlie recalled the moment Sami inspired him to get sober in his new bombshell memoir,  “The Book of Sheen.”

He remembered Sami calling him to pick her up at 9 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2017 — but that he had already guzzled three whiskey-laced coffees and was unable to drive. Instead, he had to call a friend to get her.

“Sam was very quiet,” he wrote. “I didn’t need to be clairvoyant to know exactly what she was thinking.”

“Why is Dad not driving — again?” he imagined Sami thinking. “Why isn’t it just the two of us in the car like it used to be? When will that moment ever return? When will Dad ever return? I miss him.”

Charlie wrote that the only thing worse than betraying himself was “failing [his] children.”

“I knew exactly what had to be done,” he said of getting sober. “Sam wasn’t my final straw; she was my first harvest.”

The next day, he took “two Valiums and drank three beers” and has allegedly remained sober ever since.
