Sheinelle Jones’ “Today” show co-hosts shared a rare update on how she’s doing after she stepped away for a “family health matter” back in December.

Jones’ fellow “Today 3rd Hour” co-hosts Craig Melvin, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer all confirmed that they have been in touch with Jones.

“I just talked to her a couple days ago, [and] as you know she’s taking some time to be with her family, and we talk to her all the time,” Melvin told “Access Hollywood” in an interview Friday.

Melvin, 45, added that they “love” Jones, so it’s also “been nice to see how much everyone else loves her, too.”

“Exactly. We’re just praying for her,” Roker, 70, chimed in.

Dreyer shared that Jones, 46, “misses being” on the “Today” show with them, but “she’s doing what she needs to do” at this time.

“She’ll be back,” Dreyer, 43, assured viewers.

Jones, who has been with “Today” since 2014, co-hosts the daily third hour of “Today” and occasionally fills in for Melvin or Savannah Guthrie during the “Today” morning broadcast.

However, Jones last appeared on “Today” on Dec. 18, 2024, and sparked concern when she didn’t return after the holidays and missed pal Hoda Kotb’s emotional send-off.

Jones later addressed her time off in an Instagram post shared on Jan. 15.

“Hi everybody … I sincerely appreciate all of you who have reached out while I’ve been absent from the show,” her post began.

“I want to share that I’m taking time to deal with a family health matter. It’s not lost how lucky I am to have not only the support of my Today Show family, but to also have all of you.

She added, “Your kindness means so much to me. I’ll see you soon.”

A source later told People that the “family health matter” was “serious” and clarified that it does not revolve around herself or the three children she shares with husband Uche Ojeh: 15-year-old Kayin and 12-year-old twins, Clara and Uche.

“Sheinelle appreciates the support she’s received from fans and viewers in her absence,” the insider said in January. “She’s especially grateful for her tight-knit ‘Today’ show family and co-hosts, for all their love during a sensitive time.”

Jones and Ojeh met at Northwestern University and were dating for nearly a decade before tying the knot in 2007.
