Tori Spelling Shows Off New Bob: ‘I Cut My Own Hair and I Like It’

Tori Spelling is showing off her new DIY haircut.

The actress and podcaster, 52, debuted her sleek blonde bob Saturday, September 27, via Instagram, writing, “I cut my own hair and I liked it…”

Spelling continued, “Call it spontaneity or rebel energy but 1 hour before an event last night I decided to cut my own hair! Chop chop. Full transparency @stella_mcdermott08 had to cut the back for me. I felt like a change. Out with the old in with the new ✨. I haven’t stopped smiling and beaming 💇🏼‍♀️. Change starts from within but sometimes a literal physical change can feed the soul. Show my new DIY DO some ♥️ in comments below xo.”

“I call the do bc it’s start of spooky season {my fave} ‘Straight as an arrow, Blonde as a board,’” Spelling wrote, crediting herself for hair, makeup and “sass.”

In the comments section, many of Spelling’s friends and fans approved of her new look.

Actress Kathleen Robertson wrote, “Omg LOVE it!!!! U know I like u with short super blonde!!

Spelling recently made headlines after she opened up about a date with Charlie Sheen when she was younger.

“There was a time that [my friend and dentist] Kevin was friends with him when they were both trying to be sober, and Kevin said, ‘Charlie wants to ask you on a date,’” she said on the September 22 episode of her “missSPELLING” podcast. “I was nervous and didn’t want to go alone.”

“[Kevin’s] like, ‘Well, I’m going out to dinner with my parents,’ and Charlie and I both knew his parents,” Spelling continued. “So it was Kevin’s parents, me, Kevin and Charlie and we went out to dinner.”

While there wasn’t a romantic connection between them, Spelling described Sheen, 60, as “unimaginably intelligent.”

“Off the charts,” she said of his intellect. “And his humor! Talk about charming, smart, funny, witty. This guy was it.”

While Spelling didn’t end up with Sheen, she did marry another Charlie — Charlie Shanian — in 2004. The pair finalized their divorce in 2006, and Spelling later married Dean McDermott, with whom she shares five kids. The couple separated in June 2023, and Spelling filed for divorce in March 2024.
