Travelers were still stranded on St. Barts this week

There was more trouble in paradise early this week as some jet-setters remained stranded on St. Barts — but other intrepid travelers were actually arriving to party.

One source, who managed to make it home, told Page Six that those left on the posh island found “no hotel rooms,” while an entire plane full of hopeful travelers got stuck sleeping at the airport rather than any of the area’s luxe hot spots this week.

The travel headaches that stretched into this week were thanks to frozen airspace around Venezuela after President Nicolás Maduro was captured by the US over the weekend.

Those who made it out on private jets returned with empty bellies, we hear. “All the flight service food for privates isn’t available. All sold out!” one insider groused.

Adding to the hellish holiday travel, some travelers’ luggage was lost, with one source telling us their bags were finally found on a NetJets plane at another destination.

We reported that stranded high-flyers included Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Queen Latifah, Mike Tyson and Ming Lee Simmons.

DiCaprio’s nightlife whiz bestie Richie Akiva kept a stiff upper lip while beached, throwing a “F - - k Me We Can’t Fly” party on the island with David Guetta’s ex, Cathy, based on the DJ’s “F - - k Me I’m Famous” parties.

Most of that group made it home, and “Jerry Maguire” Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and longtime gal pal Claudine De Niro fled via Blade jet yesterday morning, we hear.

Intrepid Gooding was off to Colombia on that night, we hear, where he’ll spend two months filming a movie about 1800s military leader Admiral José Prudencio Padilla López.

President Donald Trump has warned that Colombia could be his next target, issuing warnings against its President Gustavo Petro.

But the party won’t stop due to international unrest. A source said that this week, “Some New York party promoters landed in St. Barts yesterday for vacation.”
