Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ moms are celebrating their sons.
Randi Mahomes, 49, shared an Instagram post on Saturday, Sept. 20, showing her and Donna Kelce, 72, having dinner at their sons’ new steakhouse, 1587 Prime — a name which combines their Kansas City Chiefs jersey numbers 15 and 87.
In the photo, the pair could be seen at a table together holding up a set of postcards from the restaurant that depicted flapper-style women wearing different jerseys that had ties to the players’ pasts.
The cards Donna held up showed a drawing of a woman wearing a white Cleveland Heights High School football jersey with the No. 11 and of another woman wearing a University of Cincinnati jersey with the No. 18.
The postcards that Randi held up also had ties to her son’s past, as one card featured a purple White House High School jersey and a red Texas Tech University jersey.
“Proud moms at @1587prime!!” Randi captioned the post. “Starting our collection with these keepsakes now.. so blessed! ❤️.”
1587 Prime had its grand opening on Wednesday, Sept. 17, a the at Loews Kansas City Hotel in Missouri. The restaurant is a collaboration between the two NFL players and hospitality group Noble 33 and its founders, Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha.
The menu offers several items that have nods to the players’ NFL careers, history and Kansas City culture. The cocktail “Showtime” is a tribute to a nickname Patrick’s father gave him when he was younger, while “Big Yeti” refers to Travis’ nickname.
There was also a subtle nod to Travis’ romance with Taylor Swift , with one of the cocktails named “The Alchemy,” mirroring the title of the 14-time Grammy winner’s song inspired by their relationship.
Travis first teased his new restaurant to PEOPLE in April, sharing that the venture is an “unbelievable opportunity.”
“[It’s] just another thing that we want to bring to Kansas City, to be able to show our appreciation for the city, knowing how much they love their food and how much they love their football,” he said at the time.
Meanwhile, Patrick added in a company release, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.”
