Travis Kelce claims he ‘didn’t do anything’ for New Year’s Eve — but talks NYC trip with Taylor Swift

Look what Jason Kelce made him do.

When Travis Kelce attempted to downplay his New Year’s Eve celebration on Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast episode, his brother pointed out that the tight end went to the Big Apple ahead of the holiday.

“I did go to New York,” the Kansas City Chiefs player, 35, admitted. “I got some delicious food.”

While the athlete did not mention his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, by name, the couple were photographed heading to Swift’s friend Ashley Avignone’s birthday party on Dec. 28.

The pop star, also 35, stunned in black Simkhai coat ($995) over a Fleur Du Mal corset minidress ($475) — as well as $36,000 earrings — during their outing in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.

Travis, for his part, wore a matching red denim jacket and jeans, a white T-shirt and black Louis Vuitton ranger boots.

The duo also cut fashionable figures the previous day while double dating at BondST restaurant with Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley.

The “Catching Kelce” alum gushed on Wednesday about getting “to see the big city, which [he] absolutely f–king love[s]” to do.

“I love the big city,” he concluded.

The Super Bowl winner played coy when the holiday season came up early in the episode, asking Jason, “Is this … are we catching up with … what are … what did I … ?”

Eventually, Travis said, “I didn’t do anything for New Year’s. I was stuck working on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s. And, yeah, that’s all I got.”

Page Six reported on Jan. 3 that the NFL star and Swift were together in Kansas City, Miss., on New Year’s Eve.

“[They] shared a kiss as soon as it hit midnight,” a source exclusively told us last week of their “romantic” evening.

The insider noted that not only did Travis’ team have practice on Dec. 30 and Jan. 1, but he and Jason, 37, “also had a ‘New Heights’ podcast taping.”

This year marked the couple’s second New Year’s Eve together as they began dating in the summer of 2023.

While ringing in 2024, the pair locked lips in front of fellow partygoers at a mystery Kansas City venue.
