Travis Kelce gushes over ‘magical’ Taylor Swift after she boosted ‘New Heights’

Travis Kelce credited fiancée Taylor Swift for an explosion of “New Heights” clicks that got the podcast a rare honor.

On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end credited his bride-to-be for being “so magical” in making her August episode — during which she announced the impending release of “The Life of a Showgirl” — Apple’s No. 3 episode of the year.

Noting the deluge of clicks that resulted in the honor, Jason Kelce said on Wednesday’s “New Heights” that other episodes weren’t “coming close” to Swift’s Aug. 13 appearance alongside Travis.

Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, previously held the distinction of leading the most-watched episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast — she appeared on the podcast in September 2023.

Kylie, 33, addressed Swift’s takeover on her own podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” in August.

“I’m officially no longer the record holder for the most watched episode of the other podcast — and there’s no way it’s even close,” she said at the time.

Kylie revealed that she was fine with being dethroned from the top spot, saying, “I love that for me.”

The mom of four also admitted to finding it “entertaining” to watch “the internet break” over Swift’s appearance. “

“It’s just crumbling apart, and I love it. I love it,” she said.

“I love that we know that a day before it releases my interview on the other podcast is going to lose its long tenured reign as most-watched episode, and I welcome that whole heartedly.”

During the Grammy winner’s appearance on “New Heights,” she credited the podcast with being the catalyst for her romance with Travis.

“I owe a lot to this podcast,” she said, recalling how Travis first revealed his crush on her during a 2023 episode.

“This podcast got me a boyfriend, ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago.”

Following Swift’s milestone appearance on the show — which happened to be her first podcast interview — Travis popped the question in a rose-filled backyard proposal in Kansas, which they announced online a couple of weeks later.

“I think, for Travis, the podcast was just sort a distraction, sort of ruse, to keep me not looking out the windows of the house,” the singer explained to Jimmy Fallon during an October interview on “The Tonight Show.”

The “Fate of Ophelia” singer also revealed that she realized the NFL star was about to propose when he invited her outside for a drink following the podcast.

The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker recalled him asking, “Do you wanna go and just walk around the backyard and have a glass of wine?”

Swift told Fallon, “I’m always gonna wanna do that.”
