Tyler, The Creator keeps falling in love in his latest music video.

On Tuesday, Aug. 19, the musician released the star-studded music video for his 2024 song “DARLING, I” which includes a series of meet-cutes and a heart-stopping conclusion.

Chase Infiniti, Nia Long, Ayo Edebiri (who starred in his music video for “NOID”) Willow Smith and Lauren London are featured in the retro-styled music video, which starts at a bus station, all lovey-dovey as Tyler, 34, carries around a box to give his “darling” while on dates.

Tyler takes Long, 54, for a ride in a luxury car, poses in a photobooth with Smith, 24, and surprises Edebiri, 29, with flowers. It’s all very romantic.

However, the rapper’s gift comes as a shock when a beating heart is found in the bag, wrapper, container, etc., and presented to his love interest. The video concludes with one final unsuspecting lover, seated on a bus with a present wrapped from Tyler next to her, waiting to be unboxed.

“Darling, I keep (keep falling in love),” Tyler sings in the dreamy chorus, while mentioning issues with committing to one person in a relationship.

“Ooh, I got a problem I don’t know if I can shake/Oh, they wanna tie me down that bondage just might break/I can’t sign the dotted line/ Just how long is forever?”

Teezo Touchdown, The Bear actor Lionel Boyce, skateboarder and rapper Na-Kel Smith, Orione Strohhacker and Jasmine Rutledge also make appearances throughout the clip featuring the song from his 2024 CHROMAKOPIA album.

“kids, hair, time…Listen in full more than once. thank you,” he posted on Instagram when releasing the album in October 2024. “tell me about it if anything stuck with you 🚛.”

Meanwhile, this time around, he dedicated “DARLING, I” “for all the lovers out there…”

Weeks earlier, Tyler released the music video for “STOP PLAYING WITH ME” which also had its fair share of celebrity cameos. LeBron James and the NBA star’s business partner Maverick Carter appeared in the high-energy clip.

The rapper, whose real name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, posted about his new album DON’T TAP THE GLASS on Instagram on July 21, hoping that it encourages movement among its listeners.

“I just got back from a ‘listening party’ for this album and man it was one of the greatest nites of my life. 300 people, no phones allowed, no cameras, just speakers and a sweatbox. Everyone was dancing. Moving. Expressing. Sweating. It was truly beautiful,” he wrote.

“There was a freedom that filled the room. A ball of energy that might not translate to every speaker that plays this album, but man, did that room nail it.”

DON’T TAP THE GLASS “was not made for standing still,” he added. “Any type of movement is recommended to maybe understand the spirit of it. Only at full volume.”

DON’T TAP THE GLASS and CHROMAKOPIA are available to stream.
