Urban Decay’s original Naked Palette is back — but only for a limited time

For the first time in six years, Urban Decay is relaunching its cult-favorite Original Naked Eyeshadow Palette ($59) — but only for a limited time.

The iconic neutral palette was so popular, the brand sold over 30 million units ($1 billion worth) between its 2010 inception and 2018 discontinuation, per Forbes — all while it racked up a slew of famous and influential fans.

A source told Us Weekly in 2015 that Kate Middleton used the palette when doing her own makeup, saying, “She’s learned what looks good on camera.”

It’s widely rumored that the Princess of Wales even recommended the beauty buy to Michelle Obama.

Britney Spears reportedly featured the mini Naked palette in a since-deleted Instagram post, while Nicole Richie delivered a eulogy of sorts in a video announcing its 2018 discontinuation, saying, “You were the OG.”

The new version features the same shades as the storied original — a mix of matte neutrals, velvety satin shades and glittering metallic hues — with a new double-ended brush for easy application on the go.

In the six years since the original Naked palette’s much-mourned discontinuation, Urban Decay’s launched several other palettes under the same umbrella, from the amber neutral Naked Heat Palette ($59) to the rose-hued Naked3 Palette ($59).

But with the OG back for just a limited time, it’s safe to say all eyes are on this special drop.
