Vanessa Hudgens’ Husband Cole Tucker Reveals Sex of the Couple’s Second Baby — as Well as Their First

Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker are parents to a son and a daughter!

The actress and singer, 37, and the former professional baseball player, 29, have two children — one born in July 2024 and the other they welcomed two months ago in November — but they have never confirmed details surrounding their kids, including their names or sexes.

However, during the Jan. 14 episode of the Baseball Isn’t Boring podcast, Tucker revealed that his eldest child is a boy and his newborn is a girl.

When host Rob Bradford asked whether Tucker and Hudgens had sons or daughters, the athlete responded, “[We have] one of each.”

“I got [kids who are] 7 weeks and a year-and-a-half right now. I’m in the fight,” he added.

Hudgens and Tucker wed in Tulum, Mexico, in December 2023. The “Come Back to Me” musician and the retired pro were first linked in November 2020.

On the Baseball Isn’t Boring podcast, Tucker opened up more about life as a dad to two young children. “I’m doing a lot of dad walks, a lot of up-and-down incline, like, a sled push,” he said. “I feel like I’m in pretty good shape for a dad right now. I’m in great dad shape, a lot of hands and knees. I feel like I’m doing yoga-adjacent type things.”

Hudgens, for her part, reflected candidly on the joys — and craziness — that come as a mom to two small children in a December Instagram post.

Sharing a throwback thirst trap, the High School Musical alum wrote in her caption, “Well I haven’t gone to any holiday parties or even leave [sic] the home this holiday season. Newborn life lol so here’s a photo of me in simpler times where I danced on tables. What a year it’s been. From this to mom of 2…. What a journey ❤️.”

Elsewhere on the Baseball Isn’t Boring podcast, Tucker opened about his young son specifically, and how he will always support him, whether or not he should choose to one day follow in his father’s sporty footsteps.

“I want him to do whatever he wants to do, but my wife and I want to expose him to as much as we can. He was born on July 1st last year, and he [already] plays the drums and the piano and the guitar and baseball,” Tucker said.

“He hits the ball off the tee, and he swings golf clubs and hits the ball — and he’s shooting hoops, now. He loves basketball,” he continued of his son.

The proud dad added that he and Hudgens “just want to show him everything, and whatever he wants to do, we’ll support him.”

“[If he wants] to be a dentist, sell something … be a school teacher [or] a rock star, it’s all good. We’re very open-minded,” Tucker further explained.
