Vanessa Kirby Gives Birth, Welcomes 1st Baby With Partner Paul Rabil

A month later, Rabil addressed the news in an Instagram post. “Some news…life’s greatest adventure is beginning soon. We’re very grateful for your love and support. Especially the advice. Mum’s a superhero. I’m just really lucky,” he captioned a photo of his partner’s baby bump.

Kirby and Rabil were first linked in October 2022. He confirmed their relationship more than a year later in a November 2023 Instagram post featuring photos of the couple. “From the very minute we first met in des moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful and more beautiful with you ❤️,” he wrote.

In July, the Crown actress opened up about wearing a prosthetic baby bump in the latest Marvel Studios blockbuster, which she said was heavier than her own bump.

“I honestly think a lot of people think it’s a stunt of some kind. It’s just crazy timing,” Kirby said of her real-life pregnancy.

“Essentially, the fake belly is like a foam thing. When it’s a foam, it feels very light and a bit silly. So I kept saying to Flick, who looks after my costume, ‘I want more. It needs to be heavier,’” she said during a July episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers.

“So we would try all these different things and eventually she kind of put heavy rice packets in the belly and it got so heavy, [and] I got really bad backache,” she said, per People. “And actually it’s nothing like this. This is way lighter. So, I gave myself backache for no reason at all.”

Kirby starred alongside Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, playing Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman. She is set to reprise the part in Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for release in December 2026.
